Basic SOW Production Services Agreement

This is the Production Services Agreement that we generally use for video and photography productions.

I highlighted fields that should be filled by you and conditions that you can adjust in yellow.

It starts with date, your company name and address, their company name and address and effective date. I highlighted the “California LLC” so remember to change it to whichever state / company type you have.

In the Delivery Materials and Date section insert your deliverables, then choose whether you want to put date or delete the sentence and use the phrase ‘within [days] of completion of Shoot Date.’ I recommend using timeline instead of locked dates so if your client takes their time on availability on feedback you are less affected by it.

In the Fees and Payment Schedule section you have two options, If you are charging 100% of the deal you can use the first phrase. If you are doing 50-50 or more, you can delete the first sentence and use the other paragraph and add each amount in a different paragraph. For example A ‘the amount’ Representing first 50% of the budget then B, the amount, ‘Representing final 50% of the budget’ etc.
